Scared to find out? There is so many cracks it is hard to avoid, but why?
It is because of... WEATHERING.
Are you wondering "What is weathering?" Well, weathering is the physical breakdown or dissolving of rocks on Earth's surface. For example,

Rocks break down because of many factors. It could be water, plant & animal life and the atmosphere.
It is all science, so the next time you see a crack do not fear! But wait, there is more my fellow adventurers...

Well before you hurry and click to the Process tab (because you're so excited to get to learning about Weathering), I have a fun little fact for you!
That rain we all have played in outside is actually mildly acidic, so over time it attributes to the weathering of rocks. But do not worry! It is still safe for us to be in the rain; so splash outside as much as you want.

Process
Ever wondered how these magnificent rocks were formed?
Do you think that maybe your art teacher went out there to sculpt it?
Well if you didn’t know, this is what a rock looks like after years of weathering.
What is weathering? Weathering is the process where rock is dissolved, worn away or broken down into smaller and smaller pieces
This being cause by the elements, Rain, air, ice, temperature, animals, etc.
