  • the United States was formed on political beliefs of freedom and rights. The Constitution was written to establish government structure that prevents the abuse of power and ensure the rights and responsibilities of its citizens.

  • the Constitution, is a primary source, and provides support for continuity and change as well as democratic freedoms and the founding of our government.

  • the separation of powers into three branches of government: roles and functions of each branch.

  • the Constitution guarantees civil liberties.

Task

You will be working over the course of the next couple of weeks to complete a WebQuest focusing on the writing, implementation, and contents of the United States Constitution.  You will complete readings, analyze primary sources, watch videos, examine pictures, take notes, and work collaboratively to create a successful final product.
