The Baroque era was a wonderful time for composers and music! Today you'll be exploring this era, discovering composers, and listening to their works! By the end of this webquest, you'll be a baroque expert!
Task
Today you will be reading and taking notes on the Baroque era. The goal is to be able to recognize some of the composers and the traits in the music that make it the Baroque period. You will then be creating a 3-4 slide power point about one composer from the era. Your presentation should include a summary of their works, the common themes within them, a link to your favorite piece or a short clip of your favorite piece by them, and at least one composer meme.

Step 2
Choose one composer from the baroque period and create a 3-4 slide power point.
Include a list of some of their works, some of the common themes in the works, your favorite piece by them (with a clip or a link), and then one baroque meme.
Evaluation
Your notes will be worth 10 points of your grade. Each element of the power point will be worth 4 points. You may receive partial credit if one of your elements is not fully included in your power point.
