Exploration #3

Staying on the Incredible 5 - Point Scale website, go to the page titled, Other Projects & Articles.  Read the article titled The 5-Point Scale and Emotional Regulation.

Exploration #4

Break into groups according to student population - elementary PDS, secondary PDS, secondary alternative.  If your duties are split, pick one, but try to make the two PDS groups as balanced as possible.

In groups, explore your assigned stack of books.  Using the following post-it notes colors, mark pages that the teachers you work with should see.

Elementary PDS:  Pink         Secondary PDS:  Blue       Secondary alternative:  Yellow

Exploration #5

Using a blank 5 - Point Scale template, complete a scale for yourself.  Really think it through and choose something specific that you want to work on this semester.  Complete the scale without any input from others.

When everyone is finished, choose a partner and trade scales.  Ask questions of each other and provide feedback for revisions to make the scales stronger.
