Introduction
Teaching children about their bodies, and how to respect and care for them, is a top priority for me as an early childhood teacher. This page is to help children learn more about the functions of, and ways of caring for, parts of their bodies. this will allow them to feel more appreciative and aware of self.
Task
Process
- An interactive chart with the picture of the body is displayed, children are given cards with the name of the different body parts.
- They will then get a chance each to place their cards at the body part it matches
- When they have done so they will write on blank cards the functions of the same body part and list different ways that they should take care of their body
