Author's Purpose and Text Structure

Introduction

Welcome to the author's purpose and Text Structure Webquest.  You will use your nonfiction notes to identify different author's purposes and text structures in multiple articles.

Task

Your job is to follow the directions for each number. You will write all of your answers on a sheet of paper and will turn in the paper at the end of the class.  Be sure to number your responses.

Process

1. Go to following website.  Read the article and write down what the author's purpose is and tell me how you know.
