FOOD CHAIN MOBILE

Introduction

Hello Year 6 Science Class!

I'm sure by now you are pretty familiar with the place that you live.  You know the buildings, the schools, and stores.  You see the parks, and roads, and houses.  You know the plants and animals that you encounter every day and you can describe the weather changes.  Where you live is your habitat.  The world is a big place and there is so much to explore.  There are places in the world that have very different habitats.  Have you ever thought about what lives outside of your community?

Are you ready for a new adventure?

Today, you are going to travel around the world an explore various habitats!

Task

You have already cut out 4 habitat fact CIRCLES! Great!

At each station, you will fill in one circle with information on the habitat. On the plain side, you will DRAW and COLOUR the FOOD CHAIN of that habitat.

You will find in each station a Chromebook and some books related to that habitat.

Have fun exploring this beautiful world God has created!

Process

PICK 4 stations!

Conclusion

You have done a great job!  There is so much more to learn about habitats. There are many books in the library that can help you. You can also ask your teacher for additional information. The computers are also a great resource for more information.

Congratulations on a job well done!
