Introduction
Today we are going to research information about the beef industry. You are to find sites with information about raising cattle in the US and compare it to ONE other country.
Task
Objective:
- Research how beef cattle are raised in the US using the websites provided.
- Then create a Google Doc or Google Slide show to record your information. Feel free to include photos of the process.
- When your project is completed, please email/share it to akidd@randolph.k12.nc.us
- This is due at the end of class.
Process
Your research needs to include the following information about beef cattle:
- Popular states that raise beef cattle
- The process of getting the animals from farm to table
- Where beef cattle are exported to
- Find one country that raises large amounts of beef cattle
- Determine the amount of beef used in the country
- Determine how much gets exported
- Compare to how we raise beef cattle in the US
- Any interesting facts about raising beef cattle outside of US

Try to find as much information as you can within the first 45 minutes of class. The last 45 minutes should be entering the information into Google Drive and sharing with me the document. We will have a virtual presentation on Thursday.
