Welcome to the All About Australia WebQuest!! You will be using different websites to research facts and information about Australia. Click on the Task button to know what to do next.
Task
Your task is to complete a poster with the following information about Australia:
- Animals in Australia-Choose five animals that live in Australia. Use the paper that I provide for you to write down four facts about that animal and to draw a picture of your animal. You can list facts like where the animal's habitat is, what they eat, how big they get, what their predators are, if they are vertebrates or invertebrates, if they are hot or cold-blooded, or any other facts that you would like to list.
- Food in Australia-Choose three different foods that are commonly eaten in Australia that you would like to try. Use the paper that I provide for you to draw a picture of the food and to write a complete sentence for each food telling me why you would like to try that food.
- History of Australia-Write a paragraph using 7-12 sentences telling the history of Australia. Provide facts about Australia in your paragraph. Examples of some facts can include when the country was established, who founded the country, and what language they speak.
