Speech

Speech is communication through talking or a talk given to an audience. 1. An example of speech is a conversation between two people. 2. An example of speech is the presidential address.

If you are going to perform a speech in front of an audience, you must learn the four basic types of speech.

Students will formed into 4 groups. Each group will be tasked to research on the four basic types of speeches according to their group number.

1. Impromptu Speech

2. Extemporaneous Speech

3. Manuscript Speech

4. Memorized Speech

First, students will be separated into groups of six (6),  In a class of twenty-four (24) students, there will be four (4) groups.  Each group will be given a type of speech to focus on. 

Once the groups have been selected and the type of speech given to each group.  The students in each group will perform the assigned speech given to them.

Student groups will be given one (1) type of speech to research.  The group will have to define and give some examples of the type of speech given to them.
