Introduction
65 million years ago, that is to say at the end of the Cretaceous, there was the most famous extinction of all, when the dinosaurs that had dominated the extinction disappeared for more than 150 million years. Along with these astonishing and spectacular beings also disappeared other species like the marine ammonites.
Experts have repeatedly denounced the danger of extinction of certain living things, such as mammals, amphibians and plants. Throughout history there have been a series of massive extinctions on our planet and because of the human being can repeat this situation.
Task
The collaborative activity consists of carrying out a campaign to raise awareness among humans about the extinction of species.
Process
1. In groups of five vais to realize a campaign. You should look for information about:
- The problems of the extinction of living beings.
- How the human being affects some living being in danger of extinction.
- What measures can be taken to prevent the extinction of that living being.
- What environmental, ecological or procedural measures we can take to prevent the extinction of sere living in general.
2. After collecting information, all the team members have to share the information gathered
3. Create a campaing which contains all the information developed properly. Be original creating it.

Conclusion
A new mass extinction is currently taking place which will have important consequences for the future of humanity, as some scientists have noted. The list of threatened species is increasing, more than 30% of amphibians are in danger of disappearing, in addition to 23% of mammals and 12% of birds. According to some estimates, 30% of the species will disappear by the middle of the century.
Stopping this situation is everyone's job, as easy as avoiding to buy products that contain substances that are harmful to the environment or making energy consumption fairer can greatly help biodiversity.
