Movements in American Literature: A Brief Overview of American Literary Time Periods

Introduction

This webquest is designed to introduce students to the time periods of American Literature.  The information found here should be used to create the class textbook (the formal assessment for this project).  Learning targets include:

  1. Students can make historical connections to American Literature. 
  2. Students can investigate and analyze the major principles/philosophies of each time period. 
  3. Students can develop a class textbook that contains their findings and shares their information.
