Have you ever wondered how Spiders spin their webs?
Are you afraid of Spiders?
Do you know how spiders get their food or what they eat?
Do you think spiders bite or sting?
Task
To research facts on spiders and create a picture book sharing what you've learned.
Process
You will click on the links in their order to visit the sites and learn about spiders. Some examples of things to look for are:
1. What do spiders eat? 2. How do they spin their webs? 3. Do spiders sting? 4. How do spiders catch their food? 5. Where do spiders live? 6. Are there any poisonous spiders?
After you have done your research, you will make a picture book showing and telling about the things you learned about spiders! Have Fun!!
Evaluation
What did you learn about spiders? What are three of the most interesting things, to you, that you learned about spiders? Did you find the websites helpful and interesting for learning? There are many species of spiders. Did you find a favorite one? Were any spiders that you read about, scary ?
Please include in your picture book, at least two sentences per page, about spider facts that you learned.
Conclusion
Now you know more about spiders. You have learned how spiders make their webs and catch their food. You know what spiders eat and have seen the many different types of spiders that are in the world! You know how spiders are good for the ecosystem, yet how some can be dangerous to people!
You have learned how to visit different websites through the links and how to look for information that you need.
