Introduction
In the modern and globalized world English has become the language of business and trade. Many people use it to travel abroad and even study in a foreign country. Signals in the different airports and countries around the world contained English and the native language of the place. The latest scientific discoveries are written and published in English.
This WebQuest has the purpose of guiding the student through the use and application of the verb ¨to be¨ which is the first lesson to learn English. The students will find a series of links where they will find the explanation in detail of the grammatical usage (positive, negative and interrogative forms), pronunciation and exercises.
Task
We have attached several links containing the information the students need to learn how to use the verb to be. The first step will be to learn its grammatical usage in positive, negative and interrogative (names, jobs, professions, nationalities and emotions), then pronunciation, and a series of exercises to apply their acquired knowledge; finally, they will take an evaluation quiz to measure their understanding.
