Getting to know the LD Association of York Region

Introduction

Learning goal: We are learning to increase our awareness of the resources available through the Learning Disabilities Association of York Region website

Congratulations! You have just been hired as a contract teacher with the York Region District School Board. You have been given a Grade 5 class, and have been informed that you have a handful of students in your room with learning disability exceptionalities. Time to engage in some ongoing professional learning, and explore resources to support you and your students with LDs. Let's check out the Learning Disabilities Association of York Region. 

Task

1. Research the kinds of support the LDAYR provides for teachers, students, and families

2. Create a 5-10 slide Google Slides presentation to share with your coworkers
