Watch video about verb tense.

Be told that verb tense tells us when an action takes place. The past tense tells what has already happened, the present tense tells us what is happening and the future tense tells us what will happen.

Based on prior knowledge come to the chalk board to provide sentences in various tenses. Discuss as a class.

Be given 10 sentences that are grammatically incorrect. Students will work in groups to correct the sentences.
