Introduction

Every job has its pros and cons. However, some jobs take it to the next level. Besides the usual, these jobs have high fatality rates.

Today, we are going to look through some of these dangerous jobs. 

Task

Your cousin just graduated from the university. However, he/she is not interested in pursuing a career based on his degree. Instead, he/she would like to try and do something more challenging. He/She has been browsing a list of dangerous jobs. 

Your task is to study one of these dangerous jobs, which you believe will interest your cousin. Answer the following questions based on the job chosen. After you have answered the questions, you will need to prepare a presentation to convince your cousin. 

You must answer these questions:

1. What is the job?

2. What is the main cause of fatality of this job?

3. Are there any other causes of fatality? If yes, name them.

4. Explain the cause of fatality.

5. Have the conditions improved in recent years?

6. Explain the improvements made.

7. Do you believe these improvements are sufficient?

8. Are there any other solutions to decrease fatality rate?

4. Choose a job you are interested in.

5. Answer the questions.

6. Prepare your presentation.

7. Share your presentation with the teacher.

8. Present your findings in class.
