Introduction

Pollution may muddy landscapes, poison soils, and waterways, kill plants and animals. Humans are also regularly harmed by pollution. 

Throughout this WebQuest, you will learn more about this topic, and hopefully, will be moved to work on your recycling skills.

Task

You are now working for “El Litoral” newspaper as a journalist. Your new job requires you to search for information on the pollution topic in order to write an essay which justifies your opinion.

Informing students about the causes of pollution, its disasters, how pollution can be decreased and even discuss recycling.

Your task is to create a piece of writing that will be shown to your classmates to help them answer the following questions:

  1. What is pollution?
  2. When was it first recognized?
  3. Forms of pollution.
  4. Effects on the environment and on humans
  5. What is recycling? Does it have an impact on pollution?
