Healthy Habits

Introduction

 

Do you exercise everyday?  Do you eat fruits and vegetables? Discuss your ideas with a partner.

Task

After doing the activities in each of the following websites, prepare an oral presentation about your eating and exercise habits. In the speech you have to describe the things you eat and drink, the activities you do, if you think your are healthy or not and why. Your classmates will then vote to decide which is the most interesting/valuable presentation.

Activity 1

Visit the following website

Activity 2

You will listen to a conversation between a mother and a school nurse.

 

First, click on Task 1 and play the image matching game.

Then, listen to the conversation and decide what is healthy and what is not in Task 2

After this, listen to the conversation again and match the beginning to the end of the given sentences in Task 3

Finally, listen to the conversation again and type the words you hear into the gaps in Task 4.

First, look at the picture and title. What is the text about?

Then, read the text quickly to see if you were right.

After this, read the questions in Task 1 and read the text again to find these information.

Conclusion
