Take a Look at Mississippi

Introduction

Hi! Mississippi is packed full of adventures that await you! This webquest will enlighten you on this great state by introducing you its capital, major cities, and regions. Included will be a preview of some of our fantastic festivals that highlight some of our best commodities.

Task

At the completion of this webquest, you will create a visitor's booklet which will describe the cities, regions, and festivals about which you have learned.

Process

In order for your visitor's booklet to be considered complete, it must contain the following items:

A title
A description of at least 3 cities in Mississippi. The description must include its population, county in which it is located, major industries, and its school district(s) information.
A description of one of these two geographical features: delta or coastal. This description must include the counties that fall under your chosen region and any associated landforms in your chosen region.
A description of at least 3 Mississippi festivals. This description must include when and where it is held, how many people usually attend, and what vendors are on hand.
