The Hunt for Information

Introduction

The ebola virus is once again on the rise. Nobody is sure how it surged up again, but we know that we need to put a stop to it. As an avid young reporter, your job is to research this deadly disease as much as possible and write a compelling news story to raise awareness. Awareness IS survival. Best of luck, and stay healthy in the field.

Task

Research the Ebola virus, its origins, how it is transferred from host to host, the symptoms of infection, and ways to help prevent contraction. Then, write a well-organized 5-paragraph journalistic essay informing your fellow citizens of the virus and what they can do to avoid it.

Process

First, research the virus online. Gather as many sources as possible, and make sure to cite at least one while writing.
