Our friends need help to find out this fun mystery!

Task
-
Watch video that explains what a fact or opinion is then divide into groups.
-
Divide into groups of four, once we have the groups created you will be given two facts and two opinions.
-
The group members all need to decide which one is fact and which one is opinion.
-
After finding out which cards are fact and opinion the group will run to another group and see if their cards are correct.
-
Once all the fact and opinions is found each group will receive a mystery prize!

Step 1: Watch Youtube video that explains what fact or opinion is then get into group.
Step 2: Get into groups of four.
Step 3: Each group needs to grab four cards total from the fact or opinion pile.
Step 4: Look at the cards carefully and with your group determine if its fact or opinion
Step 5: Write down one more fact and opinion about yourself
Step 6: Explain why its a fact or opinion and first group to finish gets a mystery prize.
Step 7: Help other groups who need help finding out what is a fact or opinion.

The webquest was an aid for students in grade levels 2-5 in comprehension of identifying what a fact and opinion truly is and the meaning.
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.2.1- This is one of the standards provided in distinguishing what opinions are by writing their own opinion on a separate piece of paper.
Materials Required:
- 100 note cards.
- 40 Markers.
- 40 pages of cardboard paper.
- 100 blank sheets of paper.
