The Big Question...
How do company's market their products? This is the main question that will be explored and answered in the Marketing Mix Webquest.

Task
You will be defining, explaining the importance, and showing examples of the different elements of the Marketing Mix. Each of the elements of the Marketing Mix; line, demographics, price, product, placement, color, texture, space, form, and shape, will be presented in the form of a report.
Warning! Because Marketing has so many different meanings to so many different people, different terms, added terms, and different definitions may need to be used for full understanding. You are to use your own discretion when deciding which terms and examples to use. You may have to combine terms or develop your own. If you have any doubts or questions, ask your instructor for clarification.
There are seven parts to the task:
1.) Research the Marketing Mix (4 P's) using the websites provided,
2.) Find a product or brand that you would like to re-brand,
3. Answer the provided questions about your product,
4. Create an advertisement (flyer) that has a new slogan for the product/brand,
5. Reflect on your learning,
6. Use the evaluation rubric to check your work, and
7. Submit your completed advertisement, answers to the questions, and reflection paragraph for a grade.

1. Research the Marketing Mix (4 P's) using the websites provided:
Before completing the assignment, questions, and reflection, you will need to complete some background research. Use the following links to learn a basic understanding of the marketing mix, target market, and demographics. Feel free to explore other internet resources as necessary!

2. Find a product or brand that you would like to re-brand:
The sky is the limit! Choose a brand that you like, or one that you feel could use a makeover! Use Google to search brands that you have in mind or to find brands that could use some help.
3. Answer the provided questions about your product.
Click on the Word Document to complete the provided questions. See the evaluation rubric for you will be assessed.
4. Create an advertisement (flyer) that has a new slogan for the product/brand.
Use the information that you learned to create an advertisement (flyer) for your product/brand. Create a new slogan for the company and make sure it is different from the original. Be creative, use different colors, fonts, and fill the whole page! Please create in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. Your ad should include the following:
- Product name, appropriate pictures, catchy (new) slogan
- The price
- Where the product is sold
- Who you are selling to
- Any additional items that would be helpful in the promotion of your product
5. Reflect on your learning.
In the same document as your questions (found in step 3), write one paragraph (5 sentences) reflecting on what you learned from completing this Webquest. Include what you changed about your product slogan and how your advertisement will appeal to your target market.
6. Use the evaluation rubric to check your work.

7. Submit your completed advertisement, answers to the questions, and reflection paragraph for a grade.
