Introduction
In the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jay Gatsby is a high class socialite known for his extravagant galas and events. Gatsby's parties were the talk of the town and everybody wanted to be there. Gatsby is throwing his final gala at his mansion and needs helping planning to make it the biggest and best one he has ever thrown.

Task
Jay Gatsby is throwing another one of his infamous extravagant galas. There will be food, dancing, and fun. Gatsby has assigned you as his event planner. To put this event together you will need to complete the following. A menu that includes appetizers or horderves and drinks needs to be created for the guests. Please include a variety of selections and list of supplies needed to make the items. A playlist will need to be created as well. Please include a minimum of seven songs that are appropriate for the time period. Live performances could be included if desired but are not a requirement. You will also need to provide decorations or a theme for the party. You may include a dress code as well when selecting a theme if desired. Consider the setting and culture for that time when making selections. Your budget for decor will only be $100. Spend wisely! Lastly, you will need to create a guest list. Be sure to include a very important persons or V.I.P. list for this occasion. Based off your readings, consider Gatsby's closest acquaintances when creating the list.
