Introduction
A donation is where a person donates their organs and tissues for transplant to someone else.
You can help us save thousands of lives every year by signing up to become an organ donor. Anyone can register to donate their organs and tissue when they die, regardless of their age.
Most organs are donated by deceased donors and used to help someone who needs a transplant. Some organs, like the kidney and liver, can be donated by living donors.
Incredible advances in medical science mean that more people each year are able to benefit from donated tissue, including corneas and bone.
Task
We are going to carry out a campaign in the school about organ donation. For this, we are going to make posters, which you will present in the classroom.
Group A: Who can be a donor? What organs can be donated? Why is umbilical cord blood donated? Is living donation possible?
Group B: In which case is organ and tissue transplantation indicated? What are the secondary effects of transplantation in a patient? Why does rejection occur?
Group C: What is the situation in Spain regarding organ donation and transplantation? What is the donor card and what is it for? Is there any advantage for donors?
Group D: Possible solutions for the future: the application of regenerative medicine and stem cells, cross-renal transplants (a register of donor-recipient pairs already exists in Spain)
Process
1) Make 4 groups. Randomly select a letter between A, B C or D. Yo have chosen your task, let's work together. Gather information.
2) After collecting information, all the team members have to share the information gathered
3) Create a campaign which contains all the information developed properly. Be original creating it.

Conclusion
Committing to be an organ donor is a generous decision that can save the lives of up to eight individuals, and even more if a donor can give corneas and tissue. Almost anyone, regardless of age, race or gender, can become an organ and tissue donor, and there are no costs to the person’s family or estate. Help other ones!
