Frogs. What are they? Frogs are small animals known as amphibians. Amphibians are animals that live part of their life in water and the other part of their life on land. Amphibians are cold-blooded animals. Cold means that their body temperature is the same as the surrounding temperature. Their skin absorbs water into their body so they do not have to drink water to survive.
