Lyndon B. Johnson and the Great Society

Introduction

Lyndon B. Johnson may have thought he would be known as the "accidental president". However, he developed several programs that he thought would help end poverty and promote equality. Johnson called these programs the Great Society. You may have never heard of the Great Society, but I bet you have heard about some of it's programs! Let's do some research and see if you are familiar with them!
