Introduction
This webquest is going to be used to teach students how to use subjects, predicates, and verbs. First, we will talk about subjects/predicates . I will explain to the students that a subject is the object of the sentence; it is a noun. Then, we will move onto predicates and verbs. I will explain to them that verbs are either actions or state of beings. Verbs are never nouns. We will then analyze sentences and identify their parts.

Task
The task os to complete the activities on three websites and then a quiz.
Process
First, I am going to teach the students what a subject is. In every sentence, there must be a subject and a verb. Otherwise, it is not a complete sentence. A subject is always a noun. My hope will be that the students will already know what a noun is: a person, place, thing, or idea. If the word is not a noun, they know for sure that it cannot be a subject. Another helpful tip about subjects, is the fact that every subject needs a verb. If the verb in the sentence is an action verb, you can find the subject by knowing the the subject is who are what the verb is doing. For is example. Tim jumped over the log. Tim is doing the jumping, so Tim must be the subject.
