My Summer Holiday

Introduction

This WebQuest is made to help learners able to understand how to write recount text about their last summer holiday experiences.

Think about your last holiday and remember how great it was. You maybe visited a new place, did a lot of fun things and had a great time. After that, write a story related to your holiday. This is an individual task. Be creative!

Task

Get ready to share your holiday experience to us. Choose some activities you did and some places you visited.  Tell us about how your holiday was, how you went there, what the worst or the most exciting (may be both) moments are. In writing your experience use the correct generic structure of recount. Write it in at least 100 words. Here  you can find  more information related to recount text and some examples. Please, read it. 

Process

After reading the task, you need to pay attention to the following things:

  • Determine the topic of your soon-to-be-recount text.

           In this case, the topic is your story of your summer holiday

  • Read some examples of recount text provided to build your knowledge
  • Use the appropriate register in order to catch the reader attention
  • Use your own words
  • Don't forget that you are supposed to use between 100 and 140 words
  • Please, choose some pictures to support your      recount
