Physics unit: Space

Task

Our goal is to greater understand the considerations developed from hundreds

Week one: descibe and apply your understanding of interactions of Earths and other bodies gravitaional fields

Week two: Able to descibe projectile motion, begin applying equations and solving problems related to projectile motion, describe the concept of escape velocity

Week three: Continue to apply calculations of projectile motion and velocity, explain the concept of escape velocity applying the gravitational constant and mass and radius of a planet.

Week four: identify projectile motion and escape velocity relevance to space travel, describe earths orbital motion's effect on space craft launching, identify "g force" and explain forces acting during space craft launch.

Week five: Analyse changing acceleration in space craft launch in terms of; law of conservation of momentum and force experienced by passangers, identify and present information describing the contributions of Robert H Goddard with respect to space exploration.

Process

Week one: Weight, matter, gravity
