Task

This webquest aims to raise awareness of current environmental issues.

Your task is to research environmental problems ,an endangered animal and ways to save the nature and live green!  You will search online resources to find helpful information.

Key information to find:

1. List some environmental problems we face.

2. How to save the environment.

3. How to live green.

4. Research an endangered animal and find the following information about that animal.

  • Where your animal lives
  • Predator and pray of your endangered animal
  • Fun Facts about your animal
  • Why is your animal endangered?  Environment, human actions, food, etc. Be specific!
  • What are some ways we can help?

You will take notes and prepare a lecture to share with the class.

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND THE WAYS TO COPE WITH THEM

Step 1: You will be placed in groups of 2 students each. As a group you will choose one of the following 4 topics.

Step 2: You will do a research about the chosen topic and answer the questions about each topic:  

Step 3: You will present your findings to the class.

Both students are responsible for the presentation about their topic and will be the presenter for the parts they have contributed to.

  5. How you can make a difference to help the animal

Content Knowledge

Overall Presentation The presenter displayed little knowledge and did not seem comfortable with the presentation and needed a lot of outside assistance in getting through the presentation.  A good presentation. The presenter demonstrated the ability to present the information; however, the presentation did not always keep my interest An outstanding presentation. The presentation kept my interest and was among the very best in class.
