Introduction
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a story by Eric Carle that follows a caterpillar from the time he hatches out of an egg to when he becomes a butterfly. Along the way we see him as he eats his way through a variety of foods, gets very full and gets bigger and bigger.
As a class we will follow the very hungry caterpillar and learn about the life cycle of caterpillars as well as the days of the week.
Task

After watching Eric Carle read The Very Hungry Caterpillar, student will get a worksheet in which they will paste in order the life cycle of a butterfly as well as pasting which foods the catarpillar ate on each day.

3. Color pictures of the butterfly's life cycle.
4. Paste the pictures in the correct order onto the worksheet.
5. Color the food that the caterpillar ate.
6. Paste the food on the correct day of the week on the back side of the worksheet.
