Top Multiplication Secret Agent Challenge

Your Mission: Your secret mission, if you choose to accept it, is to help top agent Perry the Platypus. You will use your multiplication skills to navigate through this webquest and save the number world! 

To complete your secret mission assignment, you will need to work through all of the tasks in the order that they are given. Multiplication is the name of the game, and it's up to you to help Agent Perry. 

Things to Keep in Mind: 

•      The first thing you should focus on is getting the problem correct (accuracy)
•  The second thing you should focus on is answering the problem quickly (fluency) 
• After you have mastered both, ONLY THEN, you can focus on increasing the difficulty with the multiplication problems (using larger numbers)

Mission 2: Click on the web site link (4 funbrain) and complete the following baseball game until you get at least 20 runs. Click on the back button to return to the webquest.

Mission 3: Your next mission involves a long trip.  You will be going to Multiplanet.  You will help the Multiplanet aliens complete their multiplication in order for them to have numbers grow on their planet.  This is another mission to prepare you for the final test!  Make sure you pick at least 4 different multiplication tables to complete this mission. Focus on the multipication tables you are the most unfamiliar with. Agent P will meet back up with you on Earth!

Mission 4: After you have rejoined Agent P on Earth,  you will use your multiplication skills to successfully complete at least one game of math-o. Click on the aplus math web site. Complete the math-o game by clicking on the square that is the solution to the problem below.  To play math-o, you will first select "multiplication" and set the level to challenge yourself (I suggest at least "medium"). The object of the game is to click on the answer to each multiplication equation as they appear until you fill up a column or a row (just like regular bingo). You may return to the web quest page once you have gotten math-o.

Mission 5: It's up to you and Agent P to win a game of Ball Hogs. Follow the link below, read the instructions, and use your magical multiplication skills to win at least one game.

Your Final Mission: In order to save the number world and become a secret agent, you must complete one last mission. You will complete the quiz below online and it will count as one of your quiz grades towards the class so do your very best! 

Congratulations!!!  You have completed the training with Agent P and you are now a top secret agent! I am very proud of you. If you would like to listen to the multiplication song or practice any of the games, you may practice them again to keep the top secret agent status.
