Enemy Pie

Introduction

We have been learning about different ways to show kindness to others. The topic for today is friendship. You will be reading the story Enemy Pie and completing tasks that follow along with the story.

Task

  1. With a partner brainstorm ways you can be a good friend or be kind to a classmate. This will come in hand for task 5.
  2. Listen to the story Enemy Pie by Derek Munson http://www.storylineonline.net/enemy-pie/
  3. After listening to the story complete the Problem and Solution worksheet.
  4. Make a Venn Diagram with your partner. Write about how you and your partner are alike and different.
  5. Using construction paper, trace your hand and cut it out. Write down how you will be a good friend or show kindness to others and turn it in to your teacher.

Compare and contrast Venn Diagram, you must have at least 3 points for differences and 4 points for similar. You should have 10 bullet points minimum.

Hand tracing to make a friendship wreath. Don’t forget to write your name and way you can be a good friend or show kindness!

Conclusion
