Welcome to the Civil War Webquest. By completing this webquest, you will have viewed many wonderful cites on the Civil War that will teach you many things. Make sure that you don’t miss out on the fun and enjoy learning about Civil War. To complete the webquest, go through each of the questions and click on the pictures that go with the questions. This will take you to a website that will allow you to read and answer the question. Once you find the answer, close out the website and go back to the list of questions.
Task
Task 1:
Go to the following websites and summarize the cause(s) of the Civil War in complete sentences. Open a document in Googledocs and upload it to me in our Google Classroom under the assignment labeled: Civil War Webquest after you finish all the tasks below. Your summary must be at least FIVE sentences long.

Task 2:
Go to the following website and in bullet form, summarize the Battle of Gettysburg. Pay close attention to the graphs located to the right of the passage. Guiding questions: Why was it known as the bloodiest battle of the Civil War? How many soldiers died? Who were the generals. Etc. Etc.

Task 3:
Go to the following website and watch the video on Sherman's March to the Sea. Summarize the video. Explain why it is important we learn about Sherman's March in class. What is its significance during the Civil War. Who was General Sherman? What was his role of importance in the Civil War. Use complete sentences.
Process
Create a Slide presentation in GoogleSlides about the three topics you learned about in this Webquest. You may insert media (youtube videos, pictures, etc.), design your slides, and add text. SIX slide minimum. Upload your final product in GoogleClassroom under: Civil War Slide Presentation
Evaluation
