Our United States Government

Introduction

Introduction

What if our country had no rules? What might be some problems? After the Revolutionary War, America became a new country. People thought there should be a new government. What makes a good government? The states had just become free from a king. They did not want another one. Who should be in charge? If people disagree, how should problems be solved? These are questions the people had to answer.

Under the Introduction part of your worksheet, write some ideas to the answer to these questions.
