As you know, there are many different types of rocks. To become a rock, there is a cycle that takes a VERY LONG TIME! Unfortunately, we haven’t been alive long enough to see an entire rock cycle. We can learn a lot about rocks; Where they came from, what they are made out of, and what they can be used for, it’s very interesting. Did you know that rocks can change will heat and pressure? Or that your kitchen counter top is most likely a rock? Get ready to explore the rock cycle and the different rocks that are part of it. We are going to look at each type of rock individually, what part each rock plays in the cycle, and we are going to see how rocks actually change.
