Quest on Self-Love and Body positivism

Introduction

Hello Class!

Here is our space for webquest. Here we start our search of self - love and body positivism.

The purpose of this task is to awaken your mind through the true knowledge about yourself and about what love means to you. Through this journey we will be able to learn from other people that wants to share their experiences and you will be able to know great minds along the way.

Here is a video that I would like to share with you to start inspiring you through your quest. For me, loving yourself and accepting your body is a key to happy life, what do you think?

As we discussed in class, each one of your projects will be featured in our blog

Remember this is a search you will have to do with internet tools, so remember to write your links for references.

Task

Pair up with a friend and look for a POSITIVE PERSONALITY, a person that you look up to because of their positive everyday actions and the message they deliver to the world.

He or she can be famous or not, but overall they have to live by a POSITIVE LIFESTYLE that is coherent to what they say and who they are. 

For this task, You will have to provide:

his or her biography, and answer this questions throughout a 1 page paper that you and your partner will have to write:

why did you chose this person?

why and in what way is this person a positive influence in your life?

Any other important aspects of their lifes that relates to the self-love and body positivism approach in this subject?

Process

This process implies that you will have to:

1.- Find a partner and share your ideas about this task

2.- Start your webquest! Look for a positive personality that you both look up to and get to know all about them

3.- Once you have all the information (remember to copy the links of your references at the bottom of the paper) start writing on a word document

4.- Make a power point presentation or a video (5 minutes) this will be presented in class

5.- Remember this is a tool for online searching, so everything you find should be from the WEB!
