Introduction
A child aged nine years old was found dead and discarded in a forest near a neighborhood Wednesday morning at 9:00am by Jack Dreemurr. The brother of the child.
The child belonged to fourty-two year old Mary Dreemurr. a divorced mother of three children.
Travis Dreemurr. 16 years old. attends high school and is the football team captain. Lives at home with his dad and brother.
Jack Dreemurr. 19 years old. does not live with Mary and his other two brothers. Lives with his girlfriend a few houses away from the forest where the child was found.
Chris Dreemurr. 9 years old. The child found dead in the forest.
Jeremy Dreemurr. 35 years old. The father of Chris, Jack, and Travis. He does not live with his wife, but lives in the same neighborhood as Jack. He was supposed to be watching Chris the day of his death.
Task
The boy's body was found 30 feet away from a pathway in a neighborhood forest. His body was covered poorly in branches and leaves from around the area.
Chris was still wearing all of his clothes. The only object left at the crime scene was his bike, which was left on the path near where Chris was found.
Detectives collected the bike to take back to try to find evidence.
Chris's clothes were removed from his body during the
READ AUTOPSY REPORT.
The bike was dusted for fingerprints. Fingerprints belonging to Chris were found on the handels. But fingerprints of two other people were found on the bike in multiple places.
Fingerprints were found and compared to the IAFIS database.
They belonged to Jack Dreemurr. The other fingerprints could not be identified.
Jack is questioned. He says that his dad was watching both of his brothers at the time, and he was at home with his girlfriend Abby the night before.
Abby is questioned. She shares the same story with Jack.
In suspicion, Abby is printed. Detectives compare her fingerprints to the others found on the bike.
It is a match.
Jack changes his story. He explains that Chris was at their house visiting while he was riding his bike, and he and Abby helped him off of his bike and that's why the fingerprints were there.
Meanwhile, people around the area are questioned about Jack, his dad, and Abby.
