The Vietnam war began in 1955 and ended in 1975. It was a conflict between the North of Vietnam and the Viet cong, South of Vietnam due to a divergence in political ideologies. It Was notably considered a civil war. After the quarrel with France for the victory over Indochina, The US troops entered to protest against the spread of communism. A long lasting dispute began and ended with a treaty for the limitation of weapon and promotion of peace.
