Luminous and non-luminous objects

Introduction

This webquest is about luminous and non-luminous objects. For the successful completion of this activity links are provided for the students to follow. This activity is geared towards children at the grade four level.

Task

In groups of three students are required to create a chart which shows six luminous and six non-luminous objects.

 Each member of the group will be required to orally present on two of the luminous objects and non-luminous they have on the chart. N.B. that means each member of the group should present on four objects.

Process

Step one: In order for the students to complete this task they must first know what luminous and non-luminous objects are. Conclusion

After being given the opportunity to complete this activity the students should be able to cleary identify luminous and non luminous objects and they should also be aware of what to do and what not to do when doing oral presentations.
