Introduction
The Cold War was the state of tension between America and the Soviet Union due to their different beliefs, cold meaning no shots fired. Though there was a lack of shots fired in the Cold War the state of tension was enough to influence many smaller wars such as the "Vietnam war" and "Korean war". Overall the difference of opinions led to a massive chain of events that changed the world for ever. Some of these events included an Arms race, and a Space race which ultimately led to the end of the cold war
this picture illustrates the tension between the us and ussr in the Cold War
During the Cold War the government did not apply the people's thoughts, they differed in fact. During the Vietnam war the government ignored he peoples opinion and that opinion was that we didn't belong in Vietnam.
