The Cold War was called "Cold" because their wasn't much fighting involved. The Cold War was mainly between the United States and the Soviet Union,although there were many other countries involved, the Soviet Union and the United States were big enemies during the Cold War. The two groups were enemies because the Soviet Union believed in communism and the United States believed in a democratic society.
