Introduction

How does the Cold War compare to other wars?What was the arms race? How did the Cold War start? This webquest will talk about the major events in the Cold War and how they affected the outcome of the war. The topics covered will be causes of the war, effects of the war, space race, arms race, Korean War, Vietnam war, and the end of the Cold War.

Task

  • Researcrch articles about the Cold War and how it started. Then take notes on what you read. 

  • Use the following website to find out how the Cold War started and what events lead to the start of the Cold War. Create a table with notes and an analysis of the causes of the Cold War. 

  • Next find the effects of the cauld war and what it effected(economy, environment, alliances etc.). then write and essay that includes causes of the war, effects of the war, space race, arms race, Korean War, veitnam war, and the end of the Cold War. Should be at least a page.
