The Cold War was a long period of time that included political and military tension between the US and the Soviet Union. The Cold War included proxy wars and races between the two countries such as the Space Race and the Arms Race. In the end, the Soviet Union fell and the Cold War ended.

-Was the Cold War inevitable?
-How has the Cold War shaped America into what we live in present day?
