Introduction
What is a skechting?
A sketch is a rapidly executed freehand drawing that is not usually intended as a finished work.A sketch may serve a number of purposes: it might record something that the artist sees, it might record or develop an idea for later use or it might be used as a quick way of graphically demonstrating an image, idea or principle.
What you need to do?
Sketching is generally a prescribed part of the studies of art students. This generally includes making sketches (croquis) from a live model whose pose changes every few minutes. A "sketch" usually implies a quick and loosely drawn work, while related terms such as study, modello and "preparatory drawing" usually refer to more finished and careful works to be used as a basis for a final work, often in a different medium, but the distinction is imprecise.
How’s this going to help?
All students have to be creative in order to capture the real view into their lens and portray through their art and talent.
Task
Each team/Indiviual will work as a team for the sketch competition. You all will be working on one similar situation and will make a creative video on it through mutual ideas. At the end each team/Indiviual will showcase their talent on the Sketch Day 2016, 15th JULY
The task will include:
· Story of the plot
· Summary of the idea
· Script
· Character Sketches
· Colour Schemes

· Performance

If, any material is taken off the internet it needs to be cited. Statistical information can be added into the rationale with proper citation.
After this step, the team needs to get its story checked along with the research and rationale.
Step 3
Now each team will make a script of the story. That means that there need to be colour schemes and different creative messages in accordance with all the characters. The length to the ideas would be is to be between 35 to 55 minutes.
After the team has finished this, they need to get it approved.
Step 4
Now the team/Indiviual needs to start working on their ideas. They’ll be utilizing the time of the class and two days off the class rehearsals will take place.

Conclusion
Advantages to sketches (versus a colored drawing or more permanent drawing) include:
- the ability to include even more detail
- details show better in a black and white medium
- you can add shading
- you can use a finger to blend areas of shading, creating depth to images
- you can erase and re-draw if you use light lines until satisfied with the outline
- the ability to add other images or background long after the original sketch is completed
- you can use different resolutions (when scanning for computer use )to highlight details
