A delicious recipe

Introduction

Students will prepare and cook a recipe

Grade Level:  8-9

Curriculum:  English

Keywords:  food, need, prepare, recipe, cook

Now that you are ready to create your own recipe, please choose a delicious dish and prepare it and share it with the class. You’ll work in pairs or in groups of four making a video of it.

Task

The first step is choosing a recipe. The choice is very important, because  the "right" recipe will make everyone's mouth water.

Process

1. Surf the net and find a recipe that you and your partner/s agree on. You can have a look at the following site http://www.easy2cook.tv/ but feel free to use any other site.

2. Once you have found the recipe, study how to cook it.

3. Now, you will need to decide how many ingredients you will need. Make a list of them to be sure you have all you need.

4. As a team, you will record yourselves preparing the dish.

I do not want one person doing all of the talking in this video.

We will vote on the dish that is everyone's favorite.

You must bring the recipe on May 2nd

Follow the directions above and get ready to have some fun!
