Introduction
After you read Oh, the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss, imagine where you could go. Then think about what you will do on the way and when you get there.
Think about:
- What do you like to do for fun?
- Where have you gone before?
- Is there somewhere you have heard about that you would like to see?
Now, with a buddy you will create your own travel plan on how you will get there.

First, you will decide where you and your buddy will go.
Next, think about how you will get there. Will you go by land, by water, by sky, or by imagination?
Finally, describe what you think it is like there. How is this different than where you are right now?

Process
First, where are you going?
- Decide on the place you are going to go to
- Print the activity sheet below
- Fill out the page together
Next, how will you get there?
- Choose if you will go by land, by water, by air, or by imagination
- Now print the suitcases in the picture below and draw a picture of how you will get there (If you are going by plane draw a picture of a plane on the suitcase)
- These suitcases will be put on the bulletin boards so please write your name on them
Finally
- On a poster board draw your trip
- Draw where you are now
- Next draw a picture of where you have decided to go
- Make sure you draw things that are different between the two places
