Introduction

This science unit, we are studying life cycles of plants and animals. For the first part of our unit, we will study the life cycle of a plant. Did you know that plants are living things? Did you know that they are born, grow into adults, and eventually die? Did you know that they have parents just like we do??? Task

You are going to create a fictional story about the life cycle of a plant !!! By the end of this lesson, you should be able to identify the stages of a plant's life cycle, and apply these stages into a story you create.

Modification- Create the stages of a life cycle using the chart below in Microsoft Word. You can draw your pictures using the drawing tool or you can search images to use and paste into your chart.

Redefinition- Use a multimedia tool to create your story. You can use Microsoft Word to type it, or Microsoft PowerPoint to show it, or you can use a video editor to record yourself reading the story.

Conclusion

Remember, this is a science unit on the life cycle of plants. Your task is to research the life cycle, re-create the stages in chart form, and write a fictional story about it. Your final story can be published in some type of multimedia tool!
