INTRODUCTION

In this WebQuest you will be creating a quiz for your classmates based on the topic of the natural world. Find facts and information on the internet and make a quiz to test your friends' knowledge!

  • Can you outscore them?
  • Who can create the most interesting quiz?

Task

TASKS

Task 1: Search the internet to find information to include in your quiz. Look for interesting, original and funny facts related to the animal kingdom. Copy all the information you find into a Word document.

Task 2: You are now ready to make your quiz. You should use Quizlet and put the infomation found in the previous session into questions. Think carefully about the style of your questions. Do you want to include multiple choice, true or false or open-ended questions?

Task 3: You will present your quiz to your classmates. They must try and get as many correct answers as possible. There will be a prize for the winning team and also for the most interesting quiz!

EVALUATION

The WebQuest will be evaluated in the following way:

Task 1: You must email the teacher the word document you create with all the of the information you have collected. This will make up for 30% of your mark. You must write all of the names of your group members in this document.

Task 2: The quiz you create will make up for 50% of your grade for the WebQuest. Be careful with grammar and spelling as this could affect your final mark.

Task 3: The class presentation will make up for 20% of your mark. You must communicate with the class in English and all team members must contribute orally.
